If you believe in a religious god then you will go to your respective new life, heaven, hell etc.

If not then you wont even realise your dead according to many studies.

Some research suggests that you stay alive for a few seconds after a "physical death" which due to death and time perception can last minutes, hours, days, years from your point of view. This is basically like living in year long dreams that you can control.

This if anything excites me.
