You will be knocked out for the entirety of the surgery. When I got mine removed, I did not remember any pain but my mouth was incredibly num and I was unable to eat food or drink liquids without help for a few days.

I had the surgery really not that bad! As long as they grew in normal, good luck!

I've had mine out, was put to sleep though because some f'ed up thing with my gums but didn't really hurt too much. Just stay on the pain killers they give you and you'll be fine. People over exaggerate the pain.

I've only had one wisdom tooth pulled and it wasnt that bad, i still have the rest.

The only pain was attempting to eat or drink anything for the 2 days after the removal.

Believe me wisdom teeth extraction isn't bad at all, I just had surgery to remove 9 teeth (I have extra teeth in my gums) including my wisdom teeth. I have 17 stitches in my mouth total. I was put to sleep by gas, and woke up felt like 5 minutes later with less teeth. I don't even remember leaving my room lol. You'll be fine bro, if I can do it anyone can.

I had to get mine out at 13 and the surgery itself wasn't that bad, the days after is what bothered me. I couldn't eat any solid foods, and something about pureed foods is just gross to me. Plus I kept messing with my gums with my tongue where they cut at, and that was a mistake as I ended up hurting myself. Almost 8 years later and a second pair is coming through. It's apparently rare but possible. I can't get these removed yet as they're just barely pushing through, however one of them has cracked and pretty much caved in on one part and my dentist still says they're too short to remove right now. It doesn't hurt, just can't eat anything cold for the time being. It's better to get them out as soon as possible, I have a friend who says he's had his for almost 6 years and he complains about constant headaches, constant toothaches and that he bites the inside of his cheek sometimes when eating food.

It's a pretty fun experience although you won't remember most of it. I had to get all 4 of mine taken out and it went really well, there was very little pain and I was ready to go back to school like 2 days later. The guy that did mine was amazing.

I have an appointment to get x rays as well. Pretty sure they're going to have to be pulled as they hurt like a bitch. I'm on the same boat as you pal, haha
