What memory modules are you trying to insert into the motherboard, the brand, capacity and model number of the memory will be useful. Are we to assume your current configuration is 1x4GB and you are attempting to insert another 4GB to end up with 2x4GB?

If you are having performance issues then yes a memory upgrade may increase things, but honestly not by much as it looks like the stock configuration for the processor was an AMD E2-3200 and you are able to replace that with a couple others which would boost performance;

  • AMD A8-3850 (Liano) quad core
  • AMD A8-3800 (Liano) quad core
  • AMD A6-3650 (Liano) quad core
  • AMD A6-3600 (Liano) quad core
  • AMD A4-3420 (Liano) dual core
  • AMD A4-3400 (Liano) dual core

Please note any the A6-3650 and A8-3850 do have a higher thermal output of 100w so a replacement cooler may be required to prevent overheating.
