Does anyone know why this is? I have a theory it could be cos I bought a recovery service to get me to 10th prestige without me playing any actual games first. Do you think this could be why?

Yes that will be why, when you duplicate your stats it freezes your leaderboards, I done it form 5th prestige to master level 1000 then realised that it still said I was 5th level 52 so I reset stats and now I am currently prestige 3 duplicating stats ain't worth the chances of being banned because you have a whole year to hit master and it takes all the fun out of the game

If you reset your glitched account do the leaderboards work as intended again ?
Curious as I was tempted to reset an start over but didn't want too if the leaderboards still wouldn't work
