The Pangu team has done it again and has released their 9.1 jailbreak for Windows and Mac!
Hopefully you didn't upgrade to 9.2 or higher. PS there are a couple problems people have encountered which almost always happens when a jailbreak first hits the market so for ways to fix them check out the subforum on Reddit named Jailbreak.
64 Bit Devices: IPhones from 5S to 6S.
iPad 4th Gen, IPad Air 1+2, IPad Pro
iPad Mini 2 and newer.

I feel your pain. I have a first gen iPad mini that is on 9.1 but it's 32 bits so I can't jailbreak and when I got my iPhone replaced it is on 9.2.1 so now I wait too again.

Has anyone tested this jailbreak yet? Is it safe (not full of bugs)?

No it's not safe. It can cause your device to go into a non fixable boot loop so I'd leave it for a little.

People on Reddit have actually found a few ways around this.

Just look through /r/jaibreak and you should find some solutions to it
