It really depends on preference really. There are free IDE's such as codeblocks for C++ that I used when starting out and it helped me, then I moved to Visual Studio 2015. It's just preference and the language that you choose.

If you're a student I would recommend getting a free license for Jetbrains. They have an exceptional suite of IDEs for languages such as Python, Java, C/++, PHP, Ruby, iOS/OSX and Javascript. As I said if you're as student, it's all free. If you're a commercial developer, I say give the trial period a go.

C/C++ = Visual Studio 2015
Java = Eclipse
HTML/CSS/Javascript = Brackets.io
