What's the cheapest way? Modded accounts dont come with them right so whats the alternative other that throwing money at activision until one pops up for you

If you'd like a quick opportunity to get them, then I would spend the money.

It would take a very long time to use cryptokeys at the rate players earn them.

The cheapest way is playing and getting cryptokeys from playing. Get on and play. It's not hard...

They had a Double Crpytokey weekend earlier this year. I would recommend just playing a ton if they do it again. If not, look at my previous post about paying for CoD points.
