The supply drop thing is pissing me off, they made it even harder to get some good stuff out of it, let alone the new gear. Since this last update, I think 5 out of the last 6 supply drops Ive opened have had the rewards being: common, common, rare. You have to grind just to get 30 keys then get shit in return.

Cod has just become pay to win! It's stupid, if they ever remastered a cod and brought supply drops, then that would really put cod to shame..

You're definitely not the only one who hates all this futuristic stuff being added in with Call of Duty. It's becoming more like Halo when you're able to like fly in the air. I also hate the stupid specialists on Black Ops 3. Definitely been downgrading since Advanced Warfare. At least Ghosts wasn't all futuristic and Halolike.

Before they realize what they've done with COD and how shitty they made it, it will be to late to revive the series because nobody will want to play it again. Everything is too futuristic to attract 12-14 year olds when it's supposed to be made for the maturer audience. All they care about are sales not how happy the consumer is. I'm sure they've read about how everyone wants it to go back to being "realistic" and they even implemented a no exo-suit mode in Black Ops a while back and it still didn't feel right. They just don't care how good the game they make is anymore, and that's how I feel.

Its not pay to win at all. Of course, you can buy CoD Points, but will any of the weapons give you an advantage in any way? They're just extras that you have a choice to pay for or not.

OP: I do agree that Micro-transactions are pretty stupid. I do want CoD to be 'simple' again, so to say. The supply drops are a complete joke, but if they were easy to get, Treyarch wouldnt make money plus the game would get boring imo.

I would say that the games sorta play to win.
Sure, you don't have to buy cod points, but it takes a ungodly amount of time to earn the.
New weapons change the game a lot. That is why each year the game feels different, because they add new weapons and mechanics. If you have used the new weapons, then it is obvious that the game is changed with them.
These are not reskins of weapons we are talking about, if that was the case, it would be fine.

The crossbows have a low ammo count, but you can pick up your fired shots and you don't show up on the radar when you fire.
The MX Grand is a two shot kill that fires faster than the shieva, however you have to shoot all 8 bullets to reload.
The new melee weapons seem to have a farther range depending on which ones you use.
The new sniper has the range and power of the SVG, but usability is more like the shieva. Meaning that you have great mobility with a powerful weapon.
I personally do not have the HG 40, but I have picked it up enough to know that weapon is more well rounded then the kuda.

Pay to win is when a game company sells stuff that gives an in game advantage through micro transactions. <- If that does not sound like the current situation, then IDK what Free to play is. You gain a clear advantage with these new weapons, because new weapons allow for different ways to play.

I'm in the same boat as you bud,
I miss COD when it was just Perks and Guns
nothing else.
Simplicity is key and they are trying to hard to make these new games "futuristic"
It's honestly stupid to me
