TTG as a whole has always had a fairly whack taste in music, I'm just trying to do my part to expose you guys to some upcoming rappers who you may or may not have heard of.
Yes I'm partial to these artists, yes they're all savages.

Playboi Carti and Bones are also must listens, but they aren't in this playlist because I don't think their style is particularly well matched with the other artists above.
But I still encourage you guys to check them out.

I'm just trying to put you guys onto some music I enjoy, to each their own, but some of the people in this section could use some horizon expanding.
Hope you guys find something new you like.

Lol these guys are trash *shrug
But I guess it just comes down to the genre of hip hop being split into multiple categories now.
You have the lyricists, and 90s boom bap style.
And than you have this drill rap that I personally think is unlistenable imo. Maybe I'm just too old to want to listen to 18 year olds brag about life in the hood.

None of these rappers are out of Chicago, none of these rappers are remotely even close to drill rappers.
Drill rap is like Sosa, Montana of 300 (debatable), Lil Durk, that sort of stuff.
Like the name of the playlist, Yachty describes his sub-genre as "bubblegum rap" and he's right, it's slow and he relies heavily on the producers and auto-tune, but what he set out are bangers.
Like I said, to each their own, but this isn't close to drill music.
I'm just sick of the same 10 people riding Hopsin, Logic, and G-Eazy on here. We could all benefit from some new shit being thrown in this section.

I've heard of the first artist on the list and the second artist I *think. Not really into music as long it has a good beat and not out of tune I'll enjoy the song. I want to expand lets just say but it's what's it is really.
Note: This topic should gather people around here and be more open about music. Haven't heard of the artists on your list so it's time to search and research to see if I like artists.

That's all I'm saying man, I'm just trying to put people onto some new stuff.
I'm going to find my old suggestion thread for rap music to attempt to revive this section a bit. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this section could use some diversity.
