Just built my own pc and it doesn't find any networks, I've plugged it to the router and nothing and I've plugged a wireless usb network adapter and still nothing, any suggestions?

Sounds like a driver related issue.
Go into Device Manager and tell us if there is any yellow triangles that may look like this:
If that's the case, you need to install the Ethernet Controller. To do this you need to go to your motherboards manufacturer website and download the correct drivers.

Or alternatively, if you have a disk drive, install the drivers from the disk that came with the motherboard. If you don't have a disk drive, go to the manufacturers website like mentioned above ^
