What's better the dev mode activation or the preview program? It's saying I can only be signed up to one of them at a time??

So which one would be the best bet to keep? Anyone know?

Probably the Preview Program, because you get updates before the public does. Unlike the Dev Mode, where it's only really useful for developing games/apps.

This is only my opinion though. I have the option to do one or the other as well, but I'd rather have the Preview Program on the xbox and develop my stuff on the Windows Store.

so dev mode does it mess up other gaming or what? Could you go into detail what the dev mode is before I activate it? Because I'm somewhat interested in creating an indie game just for fun!

Dev mode is something that allows you to connect your console to Visual Studio so you can debug it straight to your console.

It can make some games not playable. What's kinda annoying is when you want to change it to dev mode or retail mode, you have to change it manually in the settings. From what the FAQ says; you can't play other games while in dev mode.

If you want to make a game, by all means do it, but just know it could make some of your games unplayable since it's still pretty new. If you ever want to be reinvited to the preview program, I think there's a few posts about it.
