I say personally Astros a40s or 50s
Bed they never break ,have the best for soundwhoring and such
+I think its a FACT, people love Astros ,bec they are soft unlike turtle beaches
They work for ps3/4 ,xbox360/1 even PC
But kinda expensive $$

If you get astros I would recommend you get the a40's I have had both the a40's and the a50's and I had so many problems with the a50's such as they would always disconnect, sometimes I would have to turn my xbox on and off to get them to connect, they had to be replaced twice because of a buzzing noise. Since I have had my a40's i have not had a single problem.

I'm using the ear buds that came with my iPhone. They are plugged into the XB1 adapter and then work like a charm.

I would use any Astro product as they are high in quality and have a great reputation. If not, I would suggest going with the Playstation Gold headset. An underrated, yet passable headset that works great on Call of Duty.

The Astros have great build quality but I found two things annoying:
1. They're not good for people with larger noggins. It's very tight on my head.
2. The lack of treble compared to other headphones took a long time to get used to.
