Budget & Currency: £650 GBP
Peripherals & Monitor: No
Games: Yes, latest titles.
Software: No
Aesthetics: No
Rebates/Promos: No
Details: This build is for a friend, I have recently built my own gaming PC. I have a build in mind but I guess I let my mind go wild and tend to forget about sticking to a budget- I also stick close to Intel and Nvidia, so any AMD veterans want to chip in feel free. I'm in need of some advice on part selection for within this budget.
I have a build thought out on PC Part Picker: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
My thinking behind the AMD CPU is its a good bang for your buck CPU if I'm not mistaken and then the GTX 960 would be good for 1080p. There is easily a few things I can change to save money but was really just looking for the best build possible for £650.
When: Buying parts each month until ready to build, starting 2 months from now (maybe).
Don't worry about including windows 10, got that covered.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

That's bad. You've gone the wrong direction. Am3+ is ridiculous, terrible choice. 380>960. The GTX 960 is not a good card at all.
Don't start buying parts randomly. If you don't have the money yet, save until you do and buy everything at the same time. Come back within a week of you buying, any longer and different hardware will make sense.

What do you suggest then if mate was to build today? Just to see what you suggest for the money. What would be the alt for the 8350?
And I know what you mean, when I built mine I bought my parts all at once. Might be easier for my mate to buy a couple of parts each month though. We'll see.
