Is it worth it ? Well yes and no. You get banned often you have to deal with kids begging you for mods. You have to deal with constant updates and constant CFW problems But its fun as hell to mod. You make great friends and run every lobby.

Honestly having a jailbroken console has it's ups and downs. As Heli said you make new friends and can have some fun. But then you have the whole "mod menu pls" kids that constantly spam you. It's up to you whether or not you do downgrade + jailbreak, I personally wouldn't not now as the PS3 modding "scene" is practically dead.

Well, if you want to mod and earn a bit of money why not and go for it. Don't be one of these kids and say "I wanna Jailbreak but don't know how to do it." If you know and you're experienced with Jailbreaking/Modding yes of course go for it and mod. If you want to downgrade yes so you can go to 3.55 and have a jailbreak console. If it was me I would buy a Jailbreak from eBay (3.55 OFW) the time you ordered your eBay purchase the time the E3 Flasher would arrive. That's just me though it's up to you and good luck.

Look into it a bit more, dont just jump into it. I would say yes and no. If you're looking to get the money it costs back then i would say no, if you are just looking to have some fun then sure go for it.

Exactly man, 1 million percent agree with you here, if people think the PS3 Community is active and not dead sorry but you must be new to the PS3 Community side of things. Look on the games you normally play on for MW2 example, Where's the clans such as XGeN, Dare, Solar, vA... and all of the comp players/teams? All vanished. All I see now is fake stupid clans with cfg/Mod Menus thinking they're cool enough to kick people from the lobby becuase I'm wrecking the kids.

No, no, no & no. You may got confused what I said. If you didn't know what I meant. I meant the clans in general were on PS3 at the time but now they're all seem to be vanished. Also I had a Jailbreak PS3 for 5 years so I decided to sell my console at the time. Now I regret it and so what if I run a backup for the time being? All it matters it's fun while in the mean time I buy a Jailbreak PS3 again.
