EG6's CEX to DEX TUT with ALL Files Needed.

Steps 1 - 3 are for those on Habib.

Step 1. Download Rogero 3.55 RSOD Downgrader
Step 2. Install the downgrader. Now that you've installed the downgrader you won't be able to install any firmware.
Step 3. Toggle QA and Install 3.55 OFW.
Step 4. Install 3.55.4 Rebug
Step 5. Dump your eID root key. Install and run the eEID_RKDumper.pkg, the PS3 will just show a black screen and beep several times. You can now restart the PS3 and retrieve your eid_root_key from /dev_hdd0/tmp/.
Step 6. Install 4.21.2 REX.
Step 7. You can now dump your NOR / NAND flash file. You can do this on rebug CFW using the toolbox. If Rebug toolbox dumps your flash and it is smaller or larger than it should. You need to dump your flash with multiMAN. launch multiMAN under Games and go to mmOS->Select any file->Open in HEX viewer->[SELECT]->[START]->DUMP LV2(NO)->DUMP LV1(NO)->DUMP FLASH(YES)
Find the option "Export Flash to File", this will dump it to USB001 (right slot). Your NOR dump should be 16MB and if your dumping a PHAT PS3. It should be a NAND and 239MB. ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
Step 8. You can now switch to your PC and continue with the process of converting your flash file to DEX.
Step 9. Converting your CEX dump to DEX
First download and extract the c2d_openssl.rar to C:/ and install openSSL, this is required for c2d to work properly. Make sure you rename the folder to "openssl".
Now take you eid_root_key and your NOR/NAND dump and place in the folder with c2d.
Rename your original CEX dump to flashCEX.bin
Add .bin extension to eid_root_key. You should now have a folder that looks like this : [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 11. Open a CMD window in the current directory (CTRL+SHIFT + right click > Open a command window here)
Step 12. In CMD you want to type the following "c2d.exe eid_root_key.bin flashCEX.bin flashDEX.bin 82" ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )

Step 13. Take your two dumps (flashCEX.bin + flashDEX.bin) and rename as below:

Rename your original CEX dump to CEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN (16mb) or CEX-FLASH.EID0.NANDBIN (239mb or 256mb)
Rename your converted DEX dump to DEX-FLASH.EID0.NORBIN (16mb) or DEX-FLASH.EID0.NANDBIN (239mb or 256mb)
Then place on USB001 (right slot)
Step 14. Load up Rebug Toolbox and first click the option : ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) A couple of warning boxes pop up, click YES to both.
Step 15. Now Swap LV2 kernal, reboot and you are in DEX Mode within 10 seconds ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
