Please keep in mind this is a COMPLETE BUILD, hence the high price, I wanted looks and over-the-top performance.

Hyper 212 EVO on a $2000 rig? Over paid for your ram, $75 is ridiculous. Case is terrible especially for the price. $700 for a 980 Ti? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Once again budget peripherals in a $2000 rig? Get your OS the *arrrrggg* way, or from G2A or Reddit.
Have you built this yet?

That's really not good at all. It makes no sense to go with older hardware, e.g. 4790k, DDR3, and now, the 980Ti. That case is over-priced. That PSU is absolute garbage, 10/10 do not buy. EVGA have some really good PSUs, that isn't one of them. The G1 units were terrible. Do not pay almsot $100 retail price for your OS, you can buy a key for $20-$30 max, or even get your OS for free. Any more than $30 for an OS is stupid, and a waste of money. $2k rig absolutely does not deserve a $30 cooler, nor does it deserve a $30 kb/mouse combo. 1080p is not a good choice, even if it is 144Hz. You should be looking at a higher resolution monitor with such a high end GPU.
Something like this would be better;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
980Ti as a placeholder for a GTX 1080 or something. You should be able to pick up a 1080 for $600-$650 in 2/3 weeks with a nice cooler, and that will be a nice improvement over a 980Ti. SLI support so you'll be able to add a 2nd GPU at any point. Nice 1440p monitor. Nice case. Nice mech keyboard, and a nice mouse. Larger SSD and HDD, since 250GB SSD is minimal these days, and a 1TB HDD is pretty minimal as well. Nicer, far better cooler. Far, far better quality PSU.

I'm not looking to rip you to death like everyone else here. Did you buy the parts already, and if so how long ago? But the build is nice and if you're only using the PC for pretty much gaming only then the 4790k will be great. I recently got a 5820k and I did benchmarks with my 980 TI and at most times they were pretty much at the exact same FPS as the 4790k. For $70 more (plus the expensive X99 platform/DDR4 requirement) I think you made a good choice with the 4790k. If you just bought the parts, I would try to return the PSU and the 980TI if possible because the new 1080 is coming out for cheaper than what you paid for the 980 TI. Good luck tho and congrats on the PC!

I wouldn't recommend that power supply.
It'll power your rig no issue, nice high quality cables and what not.
However, it's so loud, im not sure if its just luck of the draw with these but its not uncommon for this particular unit to be noisy as shit. (it's louder than my 290X at FULL load)
This is also seen as one of EVGA's crappier units.
source: I own one.
