Well if some random took about 5 tags and I was waiting till the one I wanted got released and this random just snagged it of me I would be pretty mad.
But other than that I don't see why people are mad.

Well people should just take one for their main account but obviously if there is money to be made you are going to take more than one so people will be butthurt because they haven't got the the tag they wanted or they wanted og tags to sell themselves and now they aint getting money, I guess if you snooze you loose.

The fact that people are trying to sell them for profit is a joke though. Pretty much everyone has a cool GT now that they were all released. They have literallly no value anymore, except the extremely rare ones.

Everyone should be able to get the tag they want, it's stupid that poor and greedy people who are desperate for a few dollars are trying to take them when they don't even like the tag.

Not unless they're extremely rare gamertags. I've only seen a couple on these forums, like BPM, USA and so on. They're the kind of gamertags that will be possibly expensive.

They will never rise again to their old value. Everyone who cares about gamertags already got an amazing one yesterday. There's something called supply and demand. When supply is low and demand is high, things are expensive, such as when three letter gamertags used to be rare. However there's now a million gamertags out, they are nowhere near as rare as they were.

Nobody will buy a GT in a couple of years. The OG phase is kind of passing and I'd imagine that there'll be some new console soon.

It's a rude thing to do. Name changes already cost money. I shouldn't need to spend more just because someone decides they want to abuse the system to make some money. (I say abuse since I believe you can get banned for selling tags.) I only have one account. I would have to pay for the account with the tag and spend money to change both tags if I want it on my account? I feel name changes already cost a bit too much. The one tag I wanted was taken by someone with over three hundred thousand gamerscore. While bummed I didn't get the name, I am fine that someone got it that seems they would enjoy it. If someone took it just to make money off of, I feel I should have the right to feel a little irritated by it. I'm someone who despises people that buy limited editions of something and sell them at higher prices. It's just gross. I would almost classify it as a scam.
