im looking to get a cpu cooler for my computer as i have only the stock cooler on it,i have done much research and keep going back to the coolermaster hyper212x,many reviews say its quiet and keep it cool,do anyone know any better alternatives as this is cheap,is it too cheap,i have intel 4690k which is not overclocked,can anyone recommend any others or shall i just buy this,any more info you need just ask,this is around 30 gbp so anything around that sort of price,thanks
my other choice is mugen 4 pcgh edition so whats best,whats quieter and which keeps it cooler,or any other alternatives

Definitely go with the 212. It's definitely the best cooler in that price range and you can get a little overclock. It might not look like it's that great of a cooler but trust me, it is

thanks for the replys,it dont have to be exactly 20 pound a can go an extra tenner if i have to,i just used 30 as thats what the 212 is,is it worth paying extra for anything or should i just get the pure rock,i just want to keep cpu as cool as possible without spending about 80-100,i can do that when i learn how to o/c

The pure rock would be a solid choice, you don't need to spend more unless you want to increase overclocking headroom.

The 212X isn't worth the premium over a 212 EVO, and the 212 EVO isn't worth it at all.

If you're just wanting a cheap cooler, that'll do the job fine.
I'd get this instead of the Pure Rock though;

Slightly more expensive, but it's a beefier cooler so you'll be able to OC a little better/more comfortably.
The Pure Rock is a great cooler though, still a much better choice than a 212 EVO/212X.
