I bought age of empires 3 from thetechgame.org and it was put in my steam library and i downloaded it.

I then clicked to play, and It asked for "permission to make changes on my PC", I clicked yes, It said "performing first time set up 1/3" ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , this message then just disappears straight away and age of empires just doesn't load.

I had AoE on my PC before, but I uninstalled it before I installed this from steam.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
