I play the game "Squad" on 60 FPS with a GTX 970 on my 40 inch TV. However I just switched to a 27in Samsung monitor and now I only get around 45 FPS?

Some sort of setting has been changed, or the resolution has been changed.

Is your 40 inch TV Native 60FPS HD / a smart tv with Clearmotion of 120Mhz? If so check as to whether you have V-Sync enabled in your in-game graphics settings. It may be that the smaller monitor/ tv doesn't support native 60fps and you have V-Sync turned on. If so - try turning it off.
