When I turned 18 my metabolism slowed down and I went from 155 to 181 in about 3 weeks maybe a little over. I went from around 15% body fat to now at about 16-18%. What's the best way to lose weight and how did you do it?
NOTE: I eat almost no fruits and vegetables, just chicken, pasta, beans and everything in between lol so don't say eat more fruit or vegetables

Eat a high-protein breakfast.
Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice.
Drink water a half hour before meals.
Choose weight loss-friendly foods (see list on websites healthy foods).
Eat soluble fiber.
Drink coffee or tea.
Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods.
Eat your food slowly.

When you're fit

time to get some muscle in you

Well, weight is just a number. It's hard to say what I mean, but let me explain something. You can be 180 and chubby, or you can be 180 and muscular. So, if I were you I wouldn't lose weight, I'd just turn it all into muscle.

Hahaha the ol' metabolism... very tricky sometimes everyone's is different. Well I was about 200lbs back in middle school, than highschool hit and I quit drinking soda entirely and stuck to water. My metabolism is so fast I eat more then I did. Now I'm two years out of school and still the same weight since freshman year in HS (six years ago) which fluctuates from 125lb-135lbs.
My tips are stay away from sugar at all cost maybe a sweet here and there but in moderation. Fried and greasy food is your enemy especially because all of the trans and saturated fat. Stick to fresh cooked food and not already prepared or frozen dinners, stuff in that category. And always drink water, about 8-12 cups a day or a whole gallon throughout the day. Just remember the main key to losing and maintaining weight is do everything in moderation, and always get exercise daily it'll help speed your metabolism up.

that's the problem... I lift now and have big arms and a big chest but I have a chubby stomach. Need to get rid of it. In particularly my love handles.
