I just love how these videos just show life will be perfect after humans (sorry if that video isn't one, I just assume it's like the rest). What they don't look at is all the crap we've made to ensure that once we go down, so will the rest of life for a while.

For example, humans are gone, and now no one is maintaining the dams all around the world. These dams aren't just there to make electricity, but to actually keep water out of certain areas. Once that dam breaks it will destroy what's left of houses, breaking gas lines and now we have gas going directly into the water all across the earth. Not to mention all the pipelines and such that will rupture under forces like earthquakes, landslides, etc.

That's all petty when you think of the big picture though. Think of how many nuclear sites are all around the world today. Remember how big of an issue the Japan tsunami was and how much work was put into making sure nuclear plants didn't leak? Well no humans can't do that so we have nuclear stuff (sorry, don't know the proper term here) floating around destroying ecosystems.
