These are my #'s. I'm not familiar with them or how they work.

Forest wrote If possible, get a wired connection to your xbox as that will help.

As for the router you have now, how far away are you would you say?

A good recommendation would be, as I assume no one really has any AC wifi devices

If I do get a wired connection to my Xbox 1, will I still have wireless capabilities with other devices such as phone & computer?

Thank y'all for the help. Much appreciated!

The router will have multiple ethernet ports on the back so you can still hard wire your xbox and potentially computer and still use wireless on other devices.

Yes, you will still be able to have wireless connectivity if you hook your xbox up to the router. I would test that first before purchasing a new router, as that may solve the issue itself. Is your computer also wireless, or is it wired connection?

The speeds aren't the worst, but if they're streaming youtube or netflix while you're gaming you will notice lag as they're taking up majority of the bandwidth.

Alright you are going to want to invest in a new router for sure the speeds are fine I have no lag issues on a 6mb/s down and 3mb/s up. So your speed is golden, I recommend a netgear router I love mine they are easy to config and also portforward if you seek to host servers from home on a pc game.
