I want to build a computer and I came up with these parts:
i5-6500
Gigabyte GA-H110M
G.Skill RipJaws V 8GB
Seagate 2TB Hard Drive
Gigabyte GTX 1070
Cooler Master N200 Case
EVGA 500W PSU
I will not be over clocking so I was not going to buy a cooler but I was wondering if this build is good for me to build and if it would be able to have upgrades to it later on such as me over clocking and adding a cooler or if I would need to get a better mother board.
I have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and operating system already.

do you think i should just go with 1TB of storage and take that extra money to get a better MSI motherboard?

Putting a GTX 1070 in an $800 rig just means you have to sacrifice quality/features with every other component. You'd be better off with an RX 480 in an $800 rig, that way you can get an SSD and better quality components and/or more features.

What do you mean I will have to sacrifice quality/features with every other component? would all of the components not work well together?

Better motherboard, much better PSU, nice SSD and a nice cooler for $150 less. Get the Cryorig M9i from Newegg, it's only $20 there. RX 480 releases June 29th, grab an aftermarket 480 when they release. You may want to opt for an 8GB variant. 480 will still slay at 1080p ez.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the overall build quality, for example, if you were to downgrade the GPU, you would then have extra cash for an SSD, a higher tier motherboard and maybe some after-market cooling.
However I disagree, the cost to upgrade your storage/motherboard/cooling are significantly less when compared to the price you'd have to pay to buy a brand new graphics card. In my opinion, go with the build you specified and upgrade/add components as you gather more cash.

Both of you sound like you have a good understanding about what i should do but i think I'm going to keep the same parts and since i have more then 800$ i will just buy a better motherboard now and also get a cooler since i will need one later on.

You'd have to do something like that if you wanted to get a GTX 1070. It'd be about $850 after you buy the GTX 1070. However, the GTX 1070 is a 1440p card. It's way overkill for 1080p and you shouldn't really be spending more than half your total budget on the GPU. RX 480 will still be more than enough for 1080p, and with that you can get the better case, and the HDD and cooler straight away, plus have about $100 extra to play with, that'd get you a good few games and some munchies.
