Its for a friend. He's buying the parts today or tomorrow and I would like final opinions on how he could get the most of 800 dollars after rebate.

I'm going to be giving him my old cooler master n200 case and optical drive.
I know the newest GPUs are going on sale soon, but I chose the 960 because he's only going to be playing Diablo and he wants to buy the PC asap.

8GB RAM is plenty and you came easily add another 8GB in the future. Go with 16GB if you want though. DDR3 is a big no no with Skylake, so make sure you go with DDR4. Get the Cryorig M9i from Newegg for $20. GTX 960 is a terrible card, and it was a terrible card before the new GPUs were announced. Now, it makes absolutely no sense. Run the i5's iGPU for now, it'll be fine. Add the RX 480 when it releases in a week. $229 should be enough for a nice 8GB variant, it'll definitely be enough for a nice 4GB variant. Or you could go with an RX 470 for around $150 when it releases. By the time the system is purchased and built, the 480 should only be a couple of days away. XFire support so with the 470 or 480, you'll be able to add another of the same in the future if needed/wanted.
