I'm not huge on parties cause it's just like "ok wow, so it's drinking like I could do anyway".
For my 18th, I went to a nearby 'activity centre' to do some cool stuff. We did quad-biking, clay pigeon shooting, dirt-cart rally as well as paintballing. I found that much more exciting plus I still went out to town with my mates during the night.

Well, the only thing I did on my birthday was show up late to work lol. My reason for showing up late was because we transfered all my guns and my truck into my name. That took up most of the day lol.

A lot of my friends are now turning 18, it seems like they do 1 of 2 things. Either they go out camping, or they go out to the strip clubs.

Meet up with friends and have a drink night out, maybe have a special dinner with family to celebrate your party.

I wish people had the same type of mentality as you and I. Everybody in my area just throws a huge ass party with lots of bottles and sometimes pot. And that's all they ever do. Nobody does anything fun or adventurous anymore lol.

Because it simply adds to the experience. Anything is fun when you have good friends around.

Get into town and hit a club.

If I was you I would go fishing or something like paintball, gaming arcades, riding four wheelers and dirt bikes. It's boring doing the same shit like a house party or drinking in my opinion. I would just go out and do something fun with some of my buds. And if you still insist on drinking I guess you can do that too.
