Sanctorum wrote i3 and 470 will be able to play anything, easily. You'll have to turn settings down in some AAA titles, or badly optimised games, but you won't have any issues at 1080p with an i3 and 470, or even an i3 and 460.

GTA IV is badly optimised, so even really high end rigs can't max it out, but you'll be able to play it easily.

Oh that's better than I expected I'm building this for sure. Thanks

Sorry for such a late reply, but I was looking at the RX460 and the RX470 and im not sure for the RX460 should I buy the 2GB or 4GB card when it comes out? Or should I just get the RX470?

Get an RX 470 if you can, it'll be better. If not, get a 4GB 460, assuming it's not too much more than a 2GB variant. Otherwise, a 2GB 460 would be fine.

Extremely late bump, sorry if I shouldn't be doing this. Have everything bought, just need to buy the card now. Couldn't buy it earlier for personal reasons. Where is the best place to compare the prices of the RX460 and 470? pcpartpicker is showing me multiple results when I type in the cards and I can't decide which is the correct one. Maybe if you could show me which are the correct ones that would be great help . Again sorry for late bump

Take a look here maybe;

You could maybe get an R9 290(x)/390(x), or GTX 970, or GTX 780Ti for a good price. Anything lower end than those would be a poorer choice than the RX 470 though.

Ok I ordered the RX 470, thanks

Are you sure I won't need an additional fan? I didn't make any changes to the list of parts you gave me.

EDIT: Sorry I mean a CPU Cooler. Don't I need one?

The i3 comes with a stock cooler. The stock cooler will be sufficient. It will be loud, and ugly and won't perform as well as a cheap cooler, but it will be plenty fine for an i3. You can upgrade to a nicer cooler, like a Cryorig M9i for £15 or so, if you wish, but you don't need to straight away, you can add it at a later date.

The case comes with an included fan. You can buy an extra case fan if you wish, but it's not necessary. If you're buying a case fan, these are good;

Alright, just waiting for the card to arrive now and then ready to build Bought the sapphire version. I think I'll just leave the cpu cooler out, I heard they are a pain to install too.
