Yeah I remember my mom would always do that, lol, it works. Recently AT&T has added a data cap of 600GB per month and its ten bucks every time you go 50gb over so we've switched from them, but Charter Communications and Time Warner are both great alternatives.

Zyme wroteThey've put it in place recently, June I believe, hopefully they didn't add it yet for where you're at but that sucks if its for everyone. Since it's easy to go over 600GB, especially if you have multiple people in the house and you watch movies/play games.Halo wrote Yeah I remember my mom would always do that, lol, it works. You might wanna try a gaming router and modem, but before you spend that money go upgrade your internet for a month and see if that fixes the problem

Zyme wroteOk so recently my brother purchased a new xbox one and I also have one we have AT&T U verse with supposedly 25mbps but we do internet speed checks and it says we only have around 3.2-4.5 and we lag a bunch when we are both online. I have been reading up on some forums that if i threaten to cancel they will give me a better deal is this true? I am actually going to cancel if i cant get this problem fixed i pay 68 dollars a month. What internet providers do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance for all the help
AT&T UVerse is satellite internet if I remember correctly which is bad for gaming online.
As for them canceling and giving you a better deal, I don't think that is very likely.
