It's literally a re-skin of Ingress, made by the same people, I still don't understand why people get upset over others playing games, I know they don't like it, but let them play it, keeps them occupied, just like Ingress does for me.

If you read my thread you might understand why

The micro transactions bother me so much though. I've dabbled in the app a couple times so I'm going off on assumptions. But most of the things you can buy are bullshit enhancements. Increased inventory space, Pokeballs, etc. All of this shit should have been unlockables or bought with in game currency. It's essentially a pay to be a Pokemon Master generic mobile game simulator.

TL;DR Idea is amazing, executed poorly.

Just a heads up, putting a pokemon in a gym allows you to cash out 10 coins per gym every 24 hours or so. You never need to pay money to use the shop if you're going around town, and controlling gyms in your area.

It has its perks, like that one autistic child that is now interacting with other people because they have that game in common. What pisses me off more, is these people getting hurt like that girl that got hit by a car, and she's blaming the game, instead of blaming her own self for not paying attention. The game didn't make her walk into the road, no one forced her to do anything, so the fault lies entirely on her, yet she's blaming the game.

That's really the only thing that pisses me off about the game honestly

I hate this game but it is so addicting to me. I just got in a accident with my bike cause of this game. Help me.

To be fair, people with crippling anxiety and/or depression often find it difficult to get out of bed, never mind leave their house. I've personally seen Pokemon Go help people with anxiety/depression go outside and have fun, which is great.

Yeah dude I actually saw some children at the childrens hospital being wheeled around the front in their wheelchairs playing Pokemon GO... I actually kinda teared up because they were so happy and like idk man. I felt so happy for them.
