I'll be using my controller and out of no where it'll just turn off then when I try turning it back on it won't work, the light on it will turn on and it'll work for the first 10 seconds but then it'll just stop working, the batteries are fresh too so am I just going to have to invest in another 60$ on another shitty Xbox controller?

Just get a play and charge kit. I got it and it is amazing. Saves you money because you don't have to buy batteries, + it wont have this problem because it will be wired.

Same thing happened to me bro.

I literally plugged my controllers in using a micro usb and they needed an update and everything works fine now.
