Oezil wrote I don't get why everyone complains about the heat. It's a lot better than raining all the time. Plus you have more excuses to go out drinking hahaha

I love the rain... great for football

Also I find it easier to warm up my body than to cool down my body.

The real question is;
Why are all these people from the UK using Fahrenheit?

The UK is only used to Summers of around 25'C (77f) max so anything higher is unusual and disgustingly painful to live in! We also went through a period where it didn't rain much so everything was dry. Houses and buildings are designed to keep heat in, so that's another reason why it's so unbearable over here. Like in Winter, our homes are much more suited to those conditions. Our winters also feel quite harsh too, we have very wet winters with rain and wet snow so the moisture in the air keeps everything frosty and a bit of a shock to the system, i coped better in -17 New York in 2015 with a -28 wind chill. It's weird.
