With No Man's Sky now out everywhere on Consoles and soon PC, how are you finding it so far?
Has it lived up to expectations, is it disappointing?
Feel free to add any discoveries you have made and the names you have given them,!

My Experiences So Far
I've been looking forward to the game for a long time and finally the postman slipped it through the letter box this morning. Straight into the PS4 it went. I've spent the last 4 hours playing, non stop, and i still can't get enough of it. The sheer scale of the game is incredible, it can take up to 6 hours just to fly to another planet/moon depending on the system you're in and if you don't use the hyper drive stuff. I've only warped once so far after spawning on a very cold planet, which strangely had a moon which was quite hot!
Upon warping, i ended up in a bigger system which was home to 5 Planets/Moons. The first was quite hot, 75'c average but it cooled down at night to make it livable without the heat resistence. I then travelled from there to the nearest planet, it took a good 6-7 minutes and that's even with the pulse engine things, upon landing i found myself in a very earth like planet, full of grass and tree's though with no water, lots of hills and mountains and wildlife. It was pretty much a farm for Carbon, whilst finding the other rescourses were a little harder to come by.
I left that planet after around an hour of exploration as i ran out of fuel to be able to take off. From there i travelled towards the furthest planet in the system, without any speed boosts it would have taken me 7 hours to get there but i managed to get halfway in 10 minutes with the pulse engines. Then, i was attacked by space pirates.. 3 spacecraft attacked me and being pretty poor at flying and very inexperienced in the game, they destroyed me pretty quickly resulting in the death of my traveller.
Now, as the 2nd Generation of Traveller, i must fly to where the 1st Generation parted ways with life and recollect all of the loot.
Upon collecting the loot, i hope to visit the planet i was heading towards, and then hopefully the other 2 before Warping to a different system.
This game is very very good, it consumes time without you realising and there's always something to do despite the missions being relatively simple, mainly just collecting items to build upgrades. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone thinking about buying it.
