I would go for an MG ZR 1.4, can be quite unreliable when it comes to the head gasket but if you make sure it has been changed not long before you bought it you should be okay.

I have a friend who has one, he has had it for around 2 years and no issues since he got it. It looks really nice and sporty in blue or Grey.

It is defiantly a fast car for your first car, insurance is not great but it depends on how much you are wiling to pay. you will pay quite a bit if you want a sport car as your first but this will be on the cheaper side compared to the rest.
