Issue 1:
So the time displayed on windows 7 is always wrong and normally stays on the same date with a completely incorrect time and date. I have tried to change the time/date on the BIOS as well as on windows 7 itself and it still freezes/shows the wrong time/date. I would like some advice on how to make the clock/date correctly function on my PC. My motherboard is an ASUS Z87 A.
Issue 2:
1 day ago my headset (HyperX Cloud), the mic stopped working. I can hear sound fine and the headphones work as normal but it doesn't work as a microphone. On the sound tab when i talk the green bars don't show. I've tried testing my mic however it doesn't seem to pick up my voice at all. I have made sure that my microphone is selected etc and done all the common troubleshoots. My headphones have been working fine up until 1 day ago where there was a power outage + power cut however i feel it is purely a coincidence. fixed
Any advice how to fix these issues will be appreciated. +rep to helpers

Have you thought about pulling out the battery of your mainboard, it might help.
