If your HDMI on your PS4 Does not work, but your Xbox One HDMI does then it is NOT the HDMI cord.
Most likely 99% chance your HDMI Port on the PS4 Is damaged. Some people know how to fix them, you can check on YouTube, just search PS4 HDMI Port Replacement, you will probably need a Soldering Gun or something of that sort. Good luck with your problem

Switch your TV over to a different channel. If that doesn't work, the HDMI port on your ps4 is Probably busted or you don't have a good connection with the HDMI wire.

happened to me, heres what i did.
Unplug all cords going into ps4
wait about 5 + mins
then plug it all in but this time plug it into a different wall outlit
if that doesnt work id try using a wall outlit somewhere else in the house, thats what worked for me,
it seemed like some outlits are weak and dont provide the ps4 with sufficient energy, while other outlits are better and can power it more stably.
hoppe that helped ;)
