I am having trouble jailbreaking an iPad Mini 2 Running 9.3.3.
I have managed to install Pangu and PP on the iDevice, the prove problem occurs when I check the box within the Pangu app and touch the circle and then lock the device. I receive a notification from pangu and one from iOS saying that the storage is almost full and my device restarts. When the device has turned back on Cydia was not installed.
Suggested Fix (Not Working)
- I have tried going into safari and typing in the Url bar "cydia://" And a option comes up and allows me to choose between "cancel" and "open", I clicked on open and cydia is open in the background but it has a black box labeled "Database" and the following text is written in red.
- I have tried turning the device of normally by the power button and repeating the process to jailbreak but it has not worked, the same problem keeps on occurring.
- I have also tried holding down the power button and the home button until the device reboots and then attempted to reinstall cydia, but sadly it is not working.
Problem Solved using the following method:
Download this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Use iOS App Signer to convert it into an .IPA but if you have windows use this tutorial: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Get iFunBox and download this too: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Open iFunbox and navigate to /var/mobile/Media/Books then drop the lib folder to that directory
Open MobileTerminal on your iPhone or iPad that we just converted to iPA and installed and type in the following commands.
type su
type in your password. default is alpine
type: cp -R /var/mobile/Media/Books/lib /var
It should work properly now.. Congrats

Could not open file/var/lib/dpkg/status - open (2: no such file or directory)
The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
