I don't think call of duty in general and quick scoping will ever be the same as what it use to be back in mw2

You sound like you started with mw2. Cod4>mw2 anyday buddy. If you disagree THATS your opinion but all the OGs like myself would just laugh at you.

What classifies as OG's? I started with Call of Duty 2 and have played basically all of them (aside from Big Red One, Finest Hour, and the PSP games.) I think every Modern Warfare was an improvement from the last. MW was a great game changer. MW2, I feel, managed to take that idea and evolve it to something more. MW3, while I feel lacked a little with map design and how fun the guns were, I feel it fixed and removed most of the problems from MW2 (One Man Army replenishing grenades, Stopping Power, Danger Close.) While I could be in minority, I don't think that opinion is laughable at all.

Back in the day when cod4 was the only modern warfare game available (in cod terms), I was very deep into the sniping community. I feel as if mw2 brought something that ruined the community. It turned into spins and tricks straying away from dead shot accuracy to quick scope someone across the map. This post was about sniping specific and one man army or danger close has no relevance to what I was speaking about. All I was saying is, if you started in the mw2 generation sniping, you'll feel like nothing will ever be as good. As to where if you started taking sniping seriously in cod4 before mw2's release you'd obviously see the whole skill>luck kinda change. Sleight of hand pro made many believe that sniping was easy. That's why majority of snipers who prefer mw2 will have a slight issue.
