Its all perference, do some pros/cons for the both of the games.
Rs3
Quick easy PvM
Solo play for a while for grinding
Quick cash
07
Very Active PvP
Not much grinding
Long grinding sessions for more gameplay
All depends on what you're trying to do.
Tl;dr. Rs3 for PvE 07 for PvP
I personally play rs3 for the pve aspect, plenty of monsters to fight and slayer keeps me entertained. aiming for quest stats always gives me something to do

It's really just whichever you like better. OSRS offers the older style of Runescape with newer add-ons and such. RS3 offers a new variety of combat and more graphically enhanced.
