I just packed him just wondering if I should sell now or keep him

Personally, I would keep him, just because I feel he will play well this year and subsequently make you allot of coins down the line and continue to upgrade.
It is down to how you feel he will perform, if you think hes going to get IF after IF then keep him, if you think he wont, then dont.
Also, depends if you want coins now or later, as hes going to be worse less each day, until he performs and then he will be worth loads, and throughout the year as more informs come out, his IF's could be worth 50k or 200k, realistically, you need to just assess him as a player, and how you feel about how he will do and go from there.
Sorry for the vagueness of this answer, but its not a straightforward answer imo.
