i have xbox one and redeamed my code ages ago how do I play it

PS4 only this week, the beta is out for xbox one next weekend. 21st-24th october.

I already got my code off the site.
When I log into Xbox the day of the beta will it just prompt me to download the beta?

if I remember correctly, last year once you got on Xbox the day of the beta release you were able to download it since you redeemed it on your account on the website.
