If you take it apart u can turn it on and put ur fingers on the two fans to stop it from cooling or if you dont wanna take it apart just cover the vents.

i could ask my mate who used to repair xbox rrod but i cant be **** know what i mean?!?!?
lol jokes bit early in teh mornin to ring him! im still up from last nite ya get meeeeeee
from what i remember him telling me basicly as others have said overheat your xbox and the erm some sort of liqud or glue that holds the chip down melts and failzzzzzz
ive had 3 new xboxes from rrod lol my latest one it starting to **** up now though
id try over heating for 5mins then check for rrod if not 10min then chek 15 check.. ect 20 so on cause heating it too much can reset the motherboard meaning you will break and fix your xbox all in one go! LOL

TTG_SPEED wrote If your xbox red rings they will fix that, not the dvd drive..

Actually what they do is, they put your XBOX into the broken pile and give you a fixed one.
Really, your getting someone else's xbox that was sent in for fixed, that is fixed. ahaha you don't get yours back. I know from experience :]
