When do YOU think it is acceptable to start listening to Christmas Music?

this argument came up today in a group chat I am in with my friends. Some are saying the day after Halloween is fine, I (and others) think it is fine after Thanksgiving or after the first big snowfall of the year, because if you listen to it too early you'll get burnt out on it. What are your thoughts and practices about Christmas music and when it is acceptable to play?

Whenever it comes on is when I'll listen to it, it does change my mood from whatever I was in into a happy mood, so that's good.

The arguement could be made that older Christmas songs are classics and contribute to the festiveness and spirits of the holiday season, but all it is, is commericalised bullshit now, particularly the vast majority of modern songs. Very Overplayed and overrated in my opinion.

Christmas music for me is what I normally listen to, if you enjoy Christmas music, fair enough to each their own but far too many people bow too easy to commercialism and are exploited without effort.
