Just started playing the Special Edition Skyrim and after about 10 minutes of playing it stops responding, every time its re-opened it'll crash after about 10 minuets.
I'm playing on PC, Win 10 64bit, through Steam and using a completely stock/unmodded game, i haven't tampered with it at all, also on newest drivers.
Is anyone able to help at all?
* Apologies for putting this in the wrong section, however the Elder Scrolls forum and PC General/Gaming/Support are dead, posting in there wouldn't have got me an answer at all & google only seems to bring up articles stating that the game has bugs. *

specs?
also ALOT of users are reporting crashing so you're not alone man, wait for an update. Try verifying cache in steam.

Just play the old skyrim with graphic mods. I noticed no difference really between old skyrim with some mods compared to Remastered. Both were on highest settings.

on those specs you should be fine, 8 gig of ram should be alright to run it on, What settings are you trying to run it on.
Do you have any core temp monitors ? if so what temp is your gpu running at ?
Does it freeze your whole system or just the game crashes and then not responds.
Ive not had any issues my self but there have been posts all over the steam forums about crashes etc.
sounds like a bug more than likely.
One last thing you could try is like mentioned above either verify the game cache on steam or wipe and re install it from scratch.
Good luck bro.
