Listen to me here make sure you get as much revision as possible don't be a idiot like me i still passed a few things like photography and media science

Failed RE because I couldn't care less about it
Failed food tech because they wanted me to design i dibetic cookie and back 3 years ago I had no idea what it was haha

I only just failed maths and English but I have them now so all good

So yeah revise mate or you'll regret it I'm not the only one who regrets it

All I would say is aim for an an average of Bs throughout your GCSES and you'll do fine. Some people are smarter than others and don't need to study as much and others do. If I tell you to work your ass off and study every day, it probably won't happen. Just do enough to get passes in all your exams and do extra well in the ones you want to take for a levels. GCSES are just stepping stones for a levels and as soon as you have your a levels, they mean nothing.

In terms of studying, do past papers and write out notes on the subject. Say history for example and the second world war, write out a page with Adolf Hitler at the top and do spider diagrams about when he was born, the Nazis and his policies. Munich putsch, Kapp putsch and so on. Important things that Hitler was known for and will likely appear in the test. Highlight the important information to help you remember it with a highlighter and so on.

I didn't study for the majority of my subjects until a day or two before the exam which I wouldn't recommend. If you're considering studying in November then you'll be absolutely fine.

Don't panic too much about your GCSES. They're honestly not that bad. A levels are absolutely terrible compared to GCSES. You've got ages till your exams anyway!

I tried to revise but was never able to so I just gave up, I still managed to pass all but two of my subjects (f*ck knows how). My friends on the other hand didn't revise and got literally nothing therefore I highly recommend you don't do what I did.

When I do college work I find its easier to focus when I'm actually at college and in that environment. I'd suggest revising at your school as it may help you focus more.

Never revised for my GCSE's or A-Levels and came out with A's and B's and one C in Maths.

Small intense sessions is the best way, lots of breaks and never before bed.

I have a hard time revising due to my ADHD giving me concentration problems, I failed the majority of my exams in school.

I never did, but I heard if you study everything then take a nap, you'll have a better chanve at retaining the information.
