First you want to get mule kick
Acquire two good weapons that you can kill the brute with
Acquire the ax
Upgrade all weapons
Get slappy taffy and stamina up
Get to round 100!

My apologies but I forgot to mention that at about round 30 the ax starts to take two hits but this method is still really effective.
