It doesn't have the same specs. The monitor OP already has is an AH-IPS panel, so has better viewing angles and colours, etc. Also, lower response time good monitor. Although, yes, $260 is way too much for a 1080p monitor, $260 is enough for a decent 1440p monitor.

OP- Decent 1080p monitor, so that's fine, hold on to that. GTX 1060 6GB will be plenty for 1080p, so something like this would be a good shout;

Something like that will work fine, if you can go $20 over budget I'd recommend getting a main hard drive too,
