Honestly, I am going to be blunt here, it will sound shitty, but my mom and I are enemies. My dad was killed when I was 2 so I don't even know what he was about, except for words from others. If anyone in my family I would be "close to" that would be my grandfather since him and I were on the same page with a lot of things. My whole family and I are against each other due to different views on things. The biggest one would have to be my mom getting some idea when I was 13 to move the whole family from Russia, to America. I was the only one opposed to that so it's like what I said didn't matter. From there on out, I have hated my family because they just took me from my home and dropped me off in some new country even though I did not want to do so. My sister was all for moving to America, but then she ended up taking her life about 15 months later because she couldn't cope with the new life out here. I moved out of my mom's house at 17 to roommate with a friend since I legally couldn't get a place to stay until I was 18. I have not spoken to anyone in my blood family since the day I left and if I'm being honest here I won't ever speak to them again. I've only spoken to my uncle last year and that's because I was doing a yearly check up on how my old hunting dogs are doing. As for why I have not moved back; I am only still in America now, because I am engaged and once she is done with her college, then we can be in the talks of moving somewhere in Europe.

My mom. I am not close to my dad last time I talked to him was about 8 months ago. He doesn't even tell me happy birthday anymore. It doesn't bother me in the slightest bit though. I have always done just fine with out him.

That's a hard one. I know I can tell my mom (almost) anything, and she will fight for me until the day one of us dies, on the other hand, I spend a lot more time around my dad, we both work the same job at the same company (don't work together much though). I guess I would say I'm closer to my mom, but would do more for my dad as crappy as that sounds.
