8weeks old vs 12weeks old
Hey Everyone,

So it was mine and my girlfriends one year anniversary last week, and I decided to hit two birds with one stone. I love my girlfriend to bits and ever since we met she said she always wanted a puppy that she could see everyday.

So I went online and found this little guys. I travelled 10 hours from my home to get this little bundle of joy. And the best part I told my girlfriend I had to go away for a couple days for work. So she was completely clueless.

Everyone, this is Jax. He is a rescue, he was abused and was born in a crack house. The poor little guy is just turning 8 weeks old today. The owners supposably didn't take care of the mother while she was birthing and she passed away and only 3/10 puppy's survived.

When we got Jax he was named "Puppy 6" he weighed in at 7lbs at 6 weeks old, and he could hardly walk. Due to the abuse his left eye waters so it always looks like he's crying.

Since we have rescued him he is now 15lbs, with a regular visit to the vet once a week to insure he is getting healthier and stronger. We got him all his shots and is dewormed. I couldn't be happier with how far this little guy has came in less than two weeks.

Just felt like sharing this with you guys. Here's some pictures of him now.

Jax is doing much better, these pictures were taken this morning. We have introduced him to our landlords dog (she is a 3 year old Golden Retreiver) and it is outstanding how well they get a long.

*UPDATE*

Jax went to the vet yesterday for his follow up shots and his dewormer. The vet said Jax is 175% healthier than his first visit. He is now 21 lbs and 10 weeks old love the little guy. He's learning his name now and he listens to "sit". Very proud of the little guy.

*UPDATE*

Hey Everyone, so it's been a while since I've updated this post but I just want you guys to know Jax is doing very well! He is now 15 weeks old and he weighs 28lbs now! Can't get over how much this little guy has grown since we adopted him! He's starting to become very smart. He now knows: His Name, How to Sit along with Shake a Paw. He is awesome at playing fetch with already too. We are currently teaching him how to: Lay down and Stay. It is a work in progress but he should have it down pat soon!
