Do Game Graphics matter, or are they not important as long as the gameplay is good?

I personally play at 2160p i usually get around 70-90FPS in most games on at least high.

Ever since doing that, I can't play at anything less, the game would have to be really good for me to play it.

Anyone who says 30FPS is enough for gaming, is completely wrong...

I mainly play Minecraft anymore, but even with that game there are some really cool blocks with sick textures. With shaders and stuff you need a good graphics card. When I play on Battlefield and such I play on ultra and high with around 60-120 FPS.

Tl;dr yeah graphics matter.

Graphics do matter to me, but if the gameplay is fine then they won't matter as much

Graphics definitely matter but frames per second matters even more and it also can depend on the game. I've played around 100 hours on Rust with the lowest settings and 20 fps, really painful to play with but the game is so good.

Graphics definitely play a main role in the gameplay.
Better graphics let you see things better/clearer.

Disregarding anything 8bit/16bit.

GFX don't really matter to me as much as they did at one point, granted I'm still AMAZED by some.

For example OSRS, still love it, won't need a GFX ever. Granted RS3 looks great. That type of deal.
