Hey Guys,
So until recently ive always used turtle beach with no issue, but i needed to replace my XO fours due to them breaking and decided to get my self an ASTRO A40TR + Mixamp pro.
Ive had a few issues such as, i plug the IR cable from the Mixamp into the XB1, the USB cable too, i then connect the 3.5mm jack from the front of the mixamp into the Headset. I get the surround sound audio fine.
I have updated the Mixamp + controller, ive changed the audio out settings to bitstream.
My issue is that the console isnt recognising that i have a headset attached when i view my devices it lists my controller but not the headset.
the mixamp is in console mode too by the way. its worth noting if i connect the headset to the controller i get chat and stereo audio but this seems to be the only way its working.
Any suggestions ? ive tried power cycling hard resetting, my only next thought is to connect the Headset to the mix amp and the mixamp to my xb1 controller via a chat adapter using a seperate cable, ive read this isnt necessary though.
Thanks
GV
